Our Story

Welcome to Yamaclaus—the cheeky little corner of the internet where Santa’s pom-pom shakes hands with menorah light. We’re here to turn Chrismukkah into a full-on fashion moment, one delightfully quirky hat at a time.

How it all started

Flash back to 2013, San Francisco. Our founder — serial celebrator Alan Masarsky — looked around the holiday party circuit and thought, “Why are we choosing sides when we could double the fun?” So he stitched Santa’s classic red crown to a yarmulke silhouette, and Yamaclaus was born. The first prototypes sparked instant smiles, a couple of spit-takes, and a brand-new tradition.

What we stand for

We believe holidays are better shared. Yamaclaus is a love letter to interfaith families, best-friend gift swaps, and anyone who refuses to let their holiday spirit fit inside a single box. Slip it on at Christmas dinner, Hanukkah candle-lighting, or your office’s ugly-sweater showdown—this one-size-fits-all cap is a universal invite to the party.

More than a hat

Sure, it keeps your head cozy, but a Yamaclaus does bigger work:

  • Bridging traditions with a wink and a grin.
  • Celebrating individuality—every head, hairstyle, and hair-don’t is welcome.
  • Spreading joy that outlasts the eight nights and the twelve drummers drumming.

Join the merriment

Whether you’re decking the halls, spinning the dreidel, or just hunting for the perfect conversation starter, pop on a Yamaclaus and watch the room light up.

Why choose one holiday when you can have both? Grab your Yamaclaus, gather your merry crew, and let’s make Chrismukkah magic together.
